There's something timeless about sitting around an open fire in the mountains. At TEC Resort & Bar in Bhedetar, the bonfire is the heart of every evening — guests gather, marshmallows toast, strangers become friends, and the eastern Himalayas form the backdrop.

Every in-house guest gets complimentary access to our nightly bonfire. On weekends we add live acoustic music, open-mic sessions and a full BBQ grill for a complete mountain-evening experience.

Our signature bonfire night pairs perfectly with our open-grill BBQ — pork sekuwa, chicken choila, paneer tikka, grilled vegetables and warm rotis straight off the fire. Vegetarian and Jain options available on request.

At 1,420 metres, Bhedetar has cool evenings year-round — even in summer the temperature drops enough to make a bonfire feel magical. Our location in Devithan is far from city light, so on clear nights the sky fills with stars while the fire crackles.

Easy access from Dharan (20 km), Itahari (40 km) and Biratnagar (65 km) makes us a popular weekend bonfire destination across eastern Nepal.
