Our Candlelight Couple Room is built for couples who want a quiet, homely escape in the hills above Dharan. The room sits on the mountain-facing side of TEC Resort & Bar, with a king bed, soft warm lighting, ensuite hot-water bath and a private balcony slot that catches the sunrise.

It's the room couples book for honeymoons, anniversaries, surprise proposals and quiet long weekends away from Kathmandu, Biratnagar and Siliguri. Rose-petal turndown, cake setup and a candlelight dinner can be added on request.

Every couple booking includes complimentary access to our nightly bonfire, morning sunrise viewing deck, breakfast and free parking. The candlelight dinner, decoration and BBQ add-ons are charged separately and confirmed over WhatsApp before your check-in.

We keep the room couple-only — no large groups in the same wing — so the corridor stays quiet and private through the night.

Best time to book this room

Weekends from October to March sell out 2–3 weeks in advance because of the clear sunrises. Midweek and monsoon stays are easier to grab, and the resort feels even more private. WhatsApp us a date and we'll check live availability and lock the best rate.

It starts from NPR 4,500 per night for two guests, inclusive of breakfast, bonfire access and taxes. Candlelight dinner and decoration add-ons are charged separately.

Is the candlelight dinner included in the room rate?

No — the candlelight dinner is a separate add-on starting from NPR 1,999 for two, with a 3-course menu, private table on the terrace and rose-petal setup. Confirm on WhatsApp at least 12 hours before check-in.

Can I surprise my partner with decoration in the room?

Yes. We arrange room decoration with rose petals, balloons, a cake and a 'Happy Anniversary / Birthday / Proposal' banner. Send a WhatsApp message with the occasion and we'll set everything up before you arrive.
